Not having a big booty is not a requirement for me to date you. It would be a nice bonus for me (booty worshiper) but I don’t need it. All I need is someone who smart, ambition, and kinky. I don’t believe it is much to ask request.

Every once in a while, I re-read old posts on my blogs. I usually pick the posts from about two to three years ago for analysis. My writing has progressed over the years of blogging due to experiences and material I have ingested. I used to have a weird tendency to rely on the ellipsis (…) because I had pauses between the thoughts being written. It took a while to fight the habit and consciously use more periods and commas instead of the ellipsis. Now my currently goal so to liven my writing up with more adjectives to paint a brighter picture. I am viewing writing more of a dedication than a lazy past time. I enjoy seeing how I would write some posts differently back then. Of course, I cannot pat myself on the back yet.
I haven’t done anything credible to deserve praise.

Stop worrying about your identity and concern yourself with the people you care about, ideas that matter to you, beliefs you can stand by, tickets you can run on. Intelligent humans make those choices with their brain and hearts and they make them alone. The world does not deliver meaning to you. You have to make it meaningful…and decide what you want and need and must do. It’s a tough, unimaginably lonely and complicated way to be in the world. But that’s the deal: you have to live; you can’t live by slogans, dead ideas, clichés, or national flags. Finding an identity is easy. It’s the easy way out.

Today was the first day I had a decent game in basketball. Chris’s little brother is a man child (and was clearly our MVP). I have to say I enjoy playing ball again. Now to bring my little brothers and get back into game shape.

I enjoyed Iron Man 3 because I felt a similar feeling I had when I watched Iron Man 1. Iron Man 2 was let’s try and add War Machine and hope this works in movie format. Iron Man 3 was let’s have Tony Starks be more a dick and somehow charm you (ala Iron Man 1)

Like, I get why Kanye would premiere his video to “New Slaves” in certain major white areas and white audiences. I’m fine with it because they need to hear the truth of the matter from Black voices.
But I also want him to premiere that shit in the hood and in Compton and in East New York and in Southside Chicago and in Harlem and even in Baldwin Hills and in places where Black folks think they’re far removed from the realities of working class Black people and the most vulnerable to the exploitation of this fuck up system.

I think the easiest way to slight me is if I continuous put my hand out there and you ignore me. Whether it be giving a dap, saying what up, or sending a text or email. If you don’t want to be bothered, let me know so I can act accordingly. Otherwise, I going to assume nothing is wrong.
I’m naturally a person who is persistent but when the time comes, I’ll give up. We are grown ups now. Excuses are for babies.

LUV was a sad movie. I learned what the rite of passage was in Baltimore for this young boy. I feel like it is the anti Pursuit of Happyness. It will be a movie I see once a year to keep me focused on my life.
